Place exactly one sun and one cloud in each row and each column of the game board so that the given planets are illuminated as given. The suns shine horizontally and vertically up to, but not through, a planet or cloud.
It is to be considered that no cloud can be directly beside an illuminated side of a planet. Likewise, there cannot be a sun directly next to the unlit side of a planet.
There are four difficulty levels, where the game field size increases from 4x4 to 7x7 fields. In the main selection, a bar on the selection button indicates what percentage of games have already been solved at that difficulty level.
In the game display, these four symbols are available for setting:
1. sun: This can be used to light a side of the moon as required.
2. cloud: With this the light of a sun can be blocked in front of the moon
3. cross: has no influence on the suns and clouds, can be used for own markings (e.g. if on a field neither a sun nor a cloud are suitable)
4. empty field: to delete one of the previously set symbols
Tip: If a field is tapped a second time with the same symbol, it will be removed again
Existing settings options (via the "Settings" button on the start page):
=> Display of the manual
=> Language selection (German, English or Japanese)
=> Vibration feedback when setting symbols and switches
=> Start a difficulty level with the first game or the first unsolved game
=> Appearance selection
During gameplay:
=> switching back and forth between games of a difficulty level
=> Display of an overview of all games of a difficulty level
=> Display of the difficulty level, game number and, if applicable, the solution date with time
Settings within the game (via the "Assistant" button on the game page):
=> display of the number of suns and moons to be set and already set
=> Display which rows and columns are already covered by suns or moons
=> Output of the solution (will not be saved as solved game)
=> Support by inserting half of the suns and clouds (if solved with an "(A)" after the solution time)
The game is available on iPhone, iPad and Apple Mac computers. It supports dark mode and portrait and landscape display on the iPad.
